The Thread Learning by CentralReach 4.6 release contains updates to the data collection drawer, Curriculum Library, and the Raw Data report.
The following new features and product updates have been released in Thread Learning by CentralReach:
Admins can now deactivate students and staff instead of removing them from the organization.
Account statuses can be viewed by Admins in the Contacts screen to determine which users are active, inactive, or pending.
Certain information from deactivated accounts can still be accessed, as well as the option to reactivate users.
Once a student or staff member is deactivated, they can be removed using the same process as before.
After deactivating user accounts, those users will be removed from billing in subsequent months.
An “Activation Period” subheading has been added to the Billing report to include the dates that were used to determine active students and staff. These updates will be displayed at the beginning of the next pay period.
The following are updates to creating programs:
The + New Program options are:
Create new
The new “Add to My Curriculum” button allows users to convert programs being used with a student into a curriculum template for reuse with other students. Curriculum templates are stored in the “My Saved Programs” section by default, but can be moved to the organizational curriculum by admins.
The ability to activate a program from archive is now available.
When creating a new program, data types will now be located in the Program Details section.
When creating a program from a template, users will be directed to the Program Details section. If the template has “User Choice” selected, the data type will be blank.
The following updates have been made to the blue drawer:
The following sections have been renamed:
“Session Skills” is now “Session”.
“Behavior Board” is now “Pinned”.
The “Pin this program” checkbox now allows users to select programs that will be displayed in the “Pinned” section.
Please note, Frequency, and Duration programs are still pinned by default, but can be changed.
Discrete Trial and Task Analysis programs are still in the Session section by default, but can also be changed.
Below are updates made to the Curriculum Library:
Users can now search for all curriculums with the new “Search curriculum” search bar.
Programs created using curriculum templates now link back to the original curriculum template, allowing users to audit updates made to the curriculum.
16 new fields have been added to curriculum templates and the Excel import including, but not limited to Data Type, Steps for Task Analysis programs, and Mastery Criterion. Organizations can provide additional guidance for users by including more information in custom curriculum.
Admins have the ability to download custom curriculums.
The following curriculum permissions have been added:
IP Protected: users do not have access.
Default Curriculum: all users can copy curriculum.
Custom Curriculum: Admins have full capabilities. Supervisors and Instructors can only copy.
My Saved Curriculum: All users have full capabilities with their own saved curriculum.
The following are Chart enhancements:
In the redesigned Charts page, users can download charts into Excel in the same format as the updated Raw Data report by selecting “Download Data”.
Users can print specific date ranges for charts from progress reports.
“Enter Score” now aligns data points with the appropriate phase instead of the current phase.
Data points now display in chronological order, regardless of phase.
For overlapping phases, two phases will display in a splintered format as if there are four phases instead of two. When selecting one of the two phase labels, all data points will be highlighted in either phase.
The “Phase” pop-up now displays the average score for a phase, if available.
Deleted data points that were never graphed can now be recovered in the Recover Data section of each chart.
Current phases even without any data points now display on the chart in the phase.
An extra decimal has been added to Frequency and Duration programs with an average number of behaviors. For example, behaviors previously displayed as “0” occurrences per day now display as .4 instead of rounded down to 0.
Phase labels now display more characters for clinicians to view more information.
The “Organization Settings” section is now split into five sections. Admins can now edit organization settings for supervisors and instructors.
Subscriptions & Curriculum: Billing information and where admins can select access to free or paid curriculums.
Clinical Alerts: Customization of clinical alerts for instructors and programs that should be temporarily “locked”.
Program Creation: Admins can select program defaults when supervisors and instructors create new programs. For example, a program can default to a particular way of prompting or a mastery criterion.
Prompting: The default prompt hierarchy for the organization.
Workflow: Admins can customize user actions and display of data to include graphing frequency counts of zero, graphing automatically overnight un-graphed trial data, and date display for charts.
The following enhancements have been made to alerts:
Previous clinical alerts have been removed. It is recommended that users manage their own alerts.
When alerts are generated, a push notification is now sent to each user. If users clear their alerts, it will not affect other users’ alerts.
After clearing a chart alert, the alert will not be regenerated.
Performance enhancements have been made to clinical alerts and application load time for offline-capable students.
The Raw Data report is now easier to read and graph, and has been redesigned to contain more data.
Columns have been added, removed, and renamed.
The report now combines the Frequency, Duration, and Interval data types into one sheet.
Targets with trial data already collected can only be deleted if:
The user created the target or program.
The target is a future target.
The data collection issue on Task Analysis programs with inactive steps or after selecting “undo,” misaligning trial data with steps has been resolved.
Improvements have been made to Duration graphs, allowing users to view and edit large duration data points, such as 10+ hours, on charts.
Within My Student Data, Session Notes can now be labeled as a consultation.
