Overview

Thread captures your data and creates reports as you work. For in-depth information log into our web portal at app.threadlearning.com using the same Thread login credentials. There you’ll find student progress reports, raw data in Excel format, all the charts available in-app, and more.

Simple charts can also be printed in the Thread app, but the web portal produces a nicer printed page.

Access charts & files from the web portal at app.threadlearning.com

Log into the web portal

  1. Go to app.threadlearning.com
  2. If you’re not yet logged on you’ll see prompts to enter Team Name and Password. Use the same login credentials you use for the Thread app on your iPad, and click SIGN IN.
  3. The LOG OFF button will now be available in the top right corner.

Download raw data (Excel) or progress reports (Word) from the web portal

  1. Go to the student list in the web portal, shown below.
  2. Click the blue RAW DATA icon to download an Excel file containing all the raw program data for the selected student.
  1. Click the blue REPORT icon for a progress report that includes all mastered targets for a student. Accept the default or click the Set a date range box to customize your progress report, then click DOWNLOAD REPORT.

Explore or print program charts from the web portal

IMPORTANT: When you print individual charts, more data will print than you’ll originally see on-screen.

  1. Go to the student list in the web portal (shown above) and click the student’s name area. This brings up a list of programs (shown below).
  2. Click on the program name to display its chart. This will be familiar from the Thread app on iPad.
  3. Under the student’s name (top left) click the Print Chart > link.
  4. A multi-page print preview will appear. Scroll down to preview condition information, mastered targets and more.
  5. Click on Print Chart to print the chart to the destination listed (or click Change, choose a new printer destination) and then click Print.

To export the file rather than print it, change the destination in step 5 to an export location (e.g., Save as PDF or Save to Google Drive), then click Save

Inactive links on the web portal

In this version of the web portal the Update Parent > and Attempted Trials Today links are not active. The data points menu is also inactive except for the notes feature. (Click a data point, then click the small gray Add > on the Notes line and type your note. Click elsewhere on the screen and your note is saved.)
